Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that feature. The provider processes the entry and supplies its result. Webster County Warrant Records does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical details when a page loads:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure site use, such as popular pages and points where visits end. Analytics providers combine this traffic information for reporting. You may block cookies in your browser, although doing so can change how some features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Warrant Data on File
We do not host, compile, maintain, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant-record files. Our pages explain how to find Webster County warrant records through the Webster County Clerk of Court, Iowa Courts Online, and the Sheriff's Office. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or profiles about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through a tool is governed by that partner's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links to Iowa court resources, sheriff pages, legal-aid organizations, and search providers take you to independently operated websites. Their privacy policies apply after you leave this site, so review them before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, however, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If such information is identified, we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Iowa privacy and consumer-protection laws may provide rights beyond this policy. Iowa Public Records Law, Iowa Code chapter 22, governs access to public records held by Iowa government custodians, not private visitor data held by this site. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy. Any revision will appear here with an updated effective date, so this page should be reviewed periodically for changes.
Effective date: September 12, 2026
